After the birth of a baby many parents find themselves striving to balance self care and baby care. It takes time to adjust to a new family member and to find your groove. I am here to provide support to the new parents so they are able to offer their best their little ones.
Daytime Support is available between 9am-5pm. Raising a child takes a village, I would love to be part of yours. Postpartum doula care includes assistance with watching baby while you catch a nap, or bathe, preparing meals, light housework, doing baby laundry and general tidying up. Have questions? I can provide evidence based care and information on postpartum healing, newborn care, baby wearing, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and sibling support.
Nighttime support is offered between 9pm and 9am. Sleep plays an important role in healing after a baby is born. I strive to help facilitate good sleep for you and baby. Your goals are our goals, which means nighttime doula care varies from family to family. If breastfeeding is your goal, we will do everything in our power to help you have success, including offering information and support, and bringing your baby to you to feed at night. Prefer to offer bottles and get some good sleep? I can take care of baby feeding, burping, swaddling and soothing while you get much needed rest. Need a snack or water while up caring for baby? We can help with that, too.
